Bestselling author, TEDx speaker, International Fitness Presenter Debra has been in the fitness industry since 1984 and is a media spokesperson and Subject Matter Expert. After 30 years in the industry including Senior Lecturer in Kinesiology at Iowa State University, in 2013 she founded Flipping 50® to support the unmet needs of women in menopause and beyond not being heard. It was the first and only exclusively made-for-menopause fitness membership in the world.

We now train health and fitness coaches with the Flipping 50 Menopause Fitness Specialist® business plan, so they get the education they do not receive with basic certifications or 4yr degrees.

MADE-FOR-MENOPAUSE and beyond based on science featuring women in menopause. We're not mice, men or young women (even our younger selves). Because we never knew to ask, "Is that program based on research on women just like me?" we've been doing programs that may have made us tired, increased fat storage, or prevented us from reaching our full potential and lean muscle mass and bone density. 

We began Flipping 50 to put an end to that and start teaching women how to optimize energy and body composition now and for the decades ahead.
